Daz eventually started to get the break going a little better and in the end I think he can count himself a little unlucky because it could have been so different if he'd won the second set.

After going 7.0 down he clawed his way back to 8-9 and Frost was under pressure at this point, so much so he had a wild shot at a 6 ball which missed and fluked into the other corner. That put him on the hill and took some pressure off. If that ball does not drop it's 9-9 with Daz's break and a great chance to level the match at 1 set each, which IMO would have put Frost under a lot more pressure and would have made Daz favourite overall.

Frost was always going to be fav for the 9 ball and did have by far the better break but overall Daz should be well pleased with himself. Even today losing 3-0 he still played really well when in the balls.

Yeah, unusually for Darren he made far too many mistakes in the final set which he lost 11-5, scratched on his break a couple of times and missed a couple of sitters too.

I'm still watching... They're levelling the 9ft Diamond table now!

thanks for support guys!

to say have not practised at all on the bar table and never played 9ball or 10ball on a bar table before and not played on a bar table for 2 years since i won the grand masters in 06 i cant complain...

8ball i was jet lagged thats why i played slow i didnt feel good and wasnt seeing the game very well... but the last 2 sets i played well..

10ball i feel i outplayed him and this was the dicipline that i banked on the most... i think maybe i missed 1 or 2 balls throughtout the hole match..

9ball i miss easy 6 ball to go 8-5 up stupid mistake cost me the set but from 7-6 to say he got some luck was understatment everytime he miss he leave nothing and everytime he kicked he come out lucky..so lost 11-9

2nd set i didnt really get a chance till 7-0 come back strong and had him beat 9-8 he gets a lucky kick and flukes the ball.. but then misses the 6ball and flukes it then breaks run GREAT.. sickner.. last set 4-3 scratched on the one ball bad shot,, and missed easy 5 ball at 7-3 that was that..

think i showed lack of experience with 9ball break on bar table wasnt consistant with it..
he made ball everytime and got good layouts without hitting the break much different to me but he plays lot of bar table 9ball so he will know the tricks to make wing ball..
but 9ball on bar table is stupid i knew before match its coin flicking and whoever gets the most luck at right time would win which was the case first 2 sets.. 9ball bar table should be for people first taking the game up at age 10 etc...

but overall i cant complain too much i won the diciplines i fancied the most..

went to play on big table tonight amazing looks massive the table couldnt make a ball ,after practise hard for 10ball pro event lol

thanks again hope you enjoyed the games,am sure ill play many more games in future!

What do you reckon this match has done for your chances of future matches in the US?
