10 Ball Break & Dish - Event 3 GB9 Event 2019

£2,040 rolled over fro Event Two of the season, and with over £700 worth of tickets sold (a new record) we have a stunning jackpot of £2,750 up for grabs for GB9's massive UK Open 10 Ball Break & Dish competition.

£275 a ball - Oh my goodness!

We'll be doing the draw for the three lucky contenders in a moment - in the bar of the hotel... It could be lively, so we'll be videoing the draw for YouTube!

OK... You've either watched the video, or you just don't want to wait, so here are the facts and figures.

Tom Staveley made 4 balls at £275 and officially accepted a total prize of £1100 - however, he then continued the run-out attempt to see how far he would get, and managed to complete the whole clearance, so he COULD have won £2,750 if he had played on.

John Parke broke dry.

Chis Seville made 6 balls at £165 a ball and accepted a ttoal prize of £990 - and similarly, he undertook the next shot, just to see, and similarly, he made it with ease... He then made a very half-hearted effort to shoot the next ball which was long, but very "makeable" and in my opinion he almost deliberately missed it perhaps because he didn't fancy doing what Tom had done!

The audience were incredible - thanks to everyone who stayed up so late to watch.

Massive congratulations to all our winners!

The video really is worth watching here...

...Even though it's quite tough to see the balls clearly, you get a real feel for the atmosphere.

FINALLY.... There is still £660 to carry over to the next event in September!

See you there.

Tom seems a bit undecided about what he's going to do with the money - at first he was going to spend it on a new cue - but he seems to have settled on using it to go to the US Open now.

Good luck Tom! We'll be rooting for you.

Apparently I've got two horses to follow next year! ;o)

Good luck gentlemen.
