I have no idea about the mini SD card in my phone (Moto G version 3) but it's used to provide extra memory - all my photos are stored on it, and apparently it's formatted in a way that won't work on any device apart from a Moto G phone, so I can't stick it in my laptop to check it out... Does anyone know if these mini SD cards just fail like that, or is it possible that a recent upgrade has stopped my phone from recognising it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

with phone plugged into laptop see if the card comes up as a drive on your desktop, google mini sd recovery software etc, depending on what laptop you have of course mate, you got a cloud back up of anything or a backup disk ?

Nope... Laptop can see mobile phone, but the SD card is nowhere to be seen.
I was kind of hoping it was a software/update error and it might fix itself in time, but the more I look, the more I think it's completely knackered!
"Moto G - This folder is empty."
Dang - oh well, thanks anyway.
