Hello, Well this year was my first on Pro9 so I'd like to say a special thanks to everyone for making me very welcome here. This is such a friendly forum whereas some of the other pool ones are a lot more difficult to deal with for newbies like me.
Thanks again to everyone here and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of course.
Chris.

LOL I was waiting for that.... It is an old Scottish saying that basically wishes you well. Lang may yer lum reek, translates into Long may your chimney smoke. In other words, if your fire is out at this time of year, you've got problems! You really need to be Scottish to understand..

All the best to all pro9'ers. So what's been your highlight in the pool scene for 2006? Can't forget Mick & Boyzi's performances in Reno, which were just awesome but the highlight for me was Neil Raybone's EPT Victory in Solihull, because that really opened up a lot of eyes in the UK pool scene to a great prospect for the future. thanks riggers... what about vegas merry xmas everyone.. 2006 been stangest year of my life on and off the table highlight for me was ipt we got to live the dream lets hope for some miracle it continues next year but have had a lot of ups and a lot of downs ! biggest and best surprise for me as a friend and a fan was karl boyes rise and burst onto american pool scene ,he was a good english 8ball player but something was missing... but when he started playing american i spotted the potential very early and i was keen to get him into ipt qualifiers and with help of other few people we all invested and we wasnt to be dissapointed.. he travelled the world going close on so many accasions and playing great stuff and beating world class players he eventually achieved his targets and what he did at reno was just for me one of the best achievements have seen from a english pool player his so suited to american pool and he as the respect of all the best players in the world and i predict a great future for karl boyes...i was really proud of him with his attitude, dedication, and will to win!
