Topic: Yahoo Mail update problems?

Is anyone else noticing some teething problems with today's Yahoo Mail update?

Slow, laggy response etc?

Or is it just me?

Don't get me started lol.

Why did they get rid of the Classic? I've had it for ten years and it worked fine. I do find the new one weird, especially as I try and set it up as "basic" but it keeps going back to the other one and my comp hates it.

Rant over. I wish they'd kept the old one. It's one of those weird things programmers do. It's cool, it's nifty, but it's not needed by tons of users.

I searched for the term "hate new yahoo mail" and it found 1.7 MILLION results, so we're not alone.

I've tried switching back to "Basic" and it's actually OK and quite similar to Classic, BUT... No email signatures, and no way to only show unread mail, so I'm struggling with the new version which seems to take ages to update when I mark mail as spam etc, and is just frustrating.

I'm sure they'll get it up to speed later, and we'll forget the pain, but I can't help thinking they should make these changes BEHIND the scenes and not mess with the complete email layout... Such a pain finding the "Reply" button now.

I could really go on and on and on...

I want to, I probably need to, but I'd better not!
