Does anyone know if Facebook plan to roll out their "new" timeline profile layout as a compulsory change in the future?
Personally I think it looks terrible, anyone else seen it/been a tester for it?

I have just used it as a trial and it looks shight. Really un-tidy and it looks everything packed into one page. Facebook is on the way out, and its Google+ will be taking its crown. I don't like it but then I don't see the point of changing layouts to how Facebook was in 2006. Facebook kept swapping it around and annoying millions of people and now they swap it back again..!! I'm also at the end of my tether with the iPhone Facebook app. I updated to version 4.1 on Sunday and now my 'timeline' there is all messed up and the little drop down on the top right hand side ( iPhone app users will know what I mean, hopefully!) has disappeared so I can no longer filter my 'timeline' to show 'Status Updates' rather than 'Top Stories'. Does anyone know where I can install a 4.0 version from?  Thankfully, Twitter is devoid of such issues and I'm enjoying using that more each day.
