I've heard a couple of people mention this phenomenon, and whilst you are in an unfortunate minority, it's still very irritating to have to tell you that I haven't nailed down this problem. However, if you're not getting ANY pictures with firewall on OR off, it sounds like your settings may be incorrect - try reading the following from Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283807Specifically: The Show Pictures check box is not selected on the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialog box, or the Toggle Images.exe Web accessory was used to disable images in Internet Explorer. If you're one of the few that only see "some" images and not others, please be assured that I'm constantly investigating the cause in an effort to rectify the situation.

Doh! Did you switch your firewall off yesterday - because I haven't done anything different recently.
