Despite all his english pool titles and being ranked world number 1 for so many years Darren has never won the world championship. Now he's concentrating all his efforts on American pool ready for the IPT I wonder if this is his last chance this year? If so it would be so fitting for him to win it. He's playing the semi final now against Carl Morris (another american pool convert and IPT tour card holder). Mark Selby beat Chris Melling earlier today and awaits the winner in the final. Come on Dazzler!

I agree with you riggers would be great to see him win the World title just been on WEPF website and he is currently 2-0 up but they kicked off at 8pm so he cant be that score now its half 9 almost Mark Selby has been none other than exceptional he will be tough to beat!!! If you can beat someone like John Higgins in the Snooker World Champs then i surely say it will be no walkover if Dazza gets thru. Riggers is Darren coming to Manchester this weekend?

I think Daz will be in Manchester, and Mick probably. 7-2 up. First to 10. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2006-06-14 21:35 ]

It's going to be a class final. The are so many players out there that often cave in against Daz because he's beaten them so many times. Selby is not one of them and it sounds like he's flying but looking at Daz's results so is he. I just have a feeling it's meant to be this time. Come on Daz!

7-5 Selby. This has potential to be one of the all time great finals. I just hope that Daz's experience pulls him through. Both of them are used to pressure and TV cameras so it's all down to ability and the pool brain. Of course normally you'd put your house on Daz but there's absolutely nothing in it the way Selby is playing. Come on Dazzler! p.s. Anyone know when it's being shown on Sky?
