Agreed mate. You can't even use local league stats (ie high finishes/180's etc) because all it tells you is what someone did in one throw or one leg of darts. The tough thing as well is that in pool, a cat 4 has a potters chance against a cat 3 or even a cat 2 on a good day. If you can't throw darts, you'll never beat anybody better over a long distance.

fair play andy,you know these 2 boys and take your word for it,one thing for sure if i was playing and was lined up for a game and was told it was even,when play started and after about 10 legs if the other geezer was hit 100s regular or a very good player,id just pack me darts up n walk off
