Yikes I'm starting to feel like I could be stuck on £150.....I need to get this to £500, in the context of how much effort and training I am putting into this I feel it justifies more donations, so far I have rowed for over 15 hours and 180,000 metres to prepare for this 30,000 metre challenge within 3 hours (was 5 now 3). Please dont shy away and think others will donate as this will lead to Macmillan Cancer Support losing out. Thanks for all your kind messages, this is the one thing keeping me motivated when I get home from a hard days work and then having to get straight on the rower for a solid hour. Getting on for 700 views but only a handful of donations so far, I beg you to donate as I am making a big effort to raise funds for this wonderful charity, everyone of us knows someone that has been affected by cancer, this is a nice chance to put something back for all the effort they make to support families and those directly affected by cancer.
Thank you in advance
Phil

Thanks for the kind words, I cannot back out or fail this now, the only thing I ask is I get more donations.......PLEASEEEEEEE

I think you are completely crazy.... and that's why people should donate more cash - it's a much easier way to contribute than doing what you're doing

Online donations stand at £320, with collections this could be closer to £370. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONATED THEN I WOULD LOVE TO GET YOUR SPARE MONEY TOO.......I AM FEELING PRETTY EXHAUSTED FROM ALL THE RUNNING AROUND AND TRAINING, IF YOU COULD FIND THE 2 MINUTES TO GO ONTO THE JUST GIVING WEBSITE AND DONATE THEN IT WOULD GIVE ME THE BOOST I NEED TO SEE THIS THROUGH AS I AM FLAGGING

There's no reason why you shouldn't make the £500 mate, there's enough pool players out there! Come on guys, surely you can spare at least a fiver. What Phils doin is fantastic for a fantastic charity in the memory of an absolute legend in Paul Medati! it only takes 2 mins to donate!! Many thanks for all your donations towards Macmillan Cancer Support, I am now giving in to chasing any more collections as I am totally exhausted, it appears I will not raise the £500 but more like £400, whilst this is great news it's a little sad that so many people havent put in like they said : ( but thanks all the same.....now the hard bit 30,000 metres on a rower!!

Well said Mark. I understand most players don't necessarily have the time or passion to do something amazing as Phil is doing, I certainly couldn't do it, but donating is very easy and any of us can do it with a few mouse clicks. It's really important to us at GB9 because it's our one chance to give something back each season, and to be able to do it in the name of one of our most loved and respected players makes it all the more special. So please please get a small donation in to Phil and also please help us to raise more at the Paul Medati Trophy next month. We're doing what we can to make it a special event for you all and I know having Michaela there will add a nice touch so it should be a great event. We just need people to dig in their pockets a little too.
