Hi folks Have just found out that the European 3-Cushion Billiards Championships started yesterday in the South of France. The great news for us internet types is that they are being broadcast live over the internet at the European Championship website. The next session of play starts at 3:30pm with 2 more sessions today - 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Saturday has 4 sessions - 9am, 1pm, 4pm and 8pm and Sunday will see the Semi Finals at 9am with the finals at 2pm. Please note that all times mentioned are UK time.Happy viewing, folks! What a final! Took me ages to be able to access the live feed and when I got there, I thought I was almost too late. When I joined it. reigning European Champion Frédéric Caudron was 9-3 up on fellow Belgian, and reigning World Champion, Eddy Merckx in the 5th and final game. Merckx came to the table and only allowed Caudron one more point as he brilliantly ran the match out. I loved watching it and I want to see more. Gimme more!
