I had a brand new black StrokeItWear hooded top stolen from Rileys Stafford yesterday. Regrettably, due to the area where I left it whilst I was playing I have very strong suspicions that it was a fellow player (or associate of) that is responsible. Regrettably Ash also had his Nokia phone taken too. Very sad times indeed! As these tops are very uncommon in the UK at the moment please be wary if anyone tries to sell you one and if you see anyone with one please let me know. I can cope with losing a top but it sickens me to think that it's possibly a fellow competitor that's thieving from us. I urge everyone to be careful at future events. This is pretty shocking really, i have only played two events on the bpppa so far in my short pool competetive life, and i got the impression the pool community was a very 'tight knit' group of players.
Disgraceful

Got to agree - I'd hate to think a fellow pro would have sticky fingers and swipe some stuff. It's just bad form. I've always found in the clubs I've played in you can leave stuff lying about and nothing go missing. Having said that, about 2 years ago, I once had my wallet in my cue case in Victoria and it had fallen out on to the floor. A credit card had been 'borrowed' and I bankrolled someone's night in Chinawhites that evening. I only found out the next day. Cost me £50 so could of been worse - they could have gone on to Spearmint Rhino afterwards! The cheeky flash gits!

Yes it's a sad state of affairs when you have to view everyone around you as a potential thief. I have to keep my eye on my cues at all times in my local club. I had 4 cues stolen from my weekly handicap tournament from right under the whole fields noses.
