after thinking long and hard over formats and entry money i have decided to revise them both for this event, previously i think the entry was a little high and the races in the matches meant that it would be really tight to fit the tourney in over two days. but dont let this discourage you as i have decided not to go to high with the entry fee.
i am doing this coz look what happened with the IPT the money was to high and he could not sustain the losses,
this is the revised entry fee and prize money break down:
ENTRY FEE= £100
WINNER = £1200 R UP = £700 SEMIS = £400 X 2 QUARTERS = £200 X 4
i personally will be adding £300 to the prize money, i really hope this does not put any of the top players off,
BIG THINGS ARE AHEAD AT MICKEY FLYNNS, SO STAY WITH US..............................

Still restricted to 32 players? How does this leave the qualifiers?

Well instead of having 1 player qualifying and assuming there are 24+ runners you could use the IPT format and instead of having two winners one from the winners bracket and one from the losers bracket you could have 4 winners 2 from the winners bracket and 2 from the losers bracket and have a plate comp with the winner getting their entry fee back. I have taken the razors out of my head and now I have a more caring and sensible side. There is one problem though how do you run a plate comp with the IPT format, do you wait for loads of losers from the losers bracket? [ This message was edited by: HELLRAISER on 2007-04-18 12:32 ]
