Ted not answering his phone now theres a surprise, bet he was in the shower. You always get an answer from the EPT.

all this rivalry between the tours.. I do hope it's all in jest! "the sly remarks and the "cleverly done" slagging off of the bpppa on the ept website are a little too obvious!" Said Danny, the pro9 forum poster. oh wait.. did i just write that about myself

Danny i think you have got the wrong end of the stick here mate. The EPT is an 8ball tour and the BPPPA is primarily a 9ball tour so there is no need for ANY rivalry AT ALL...that is the last thing we ALL want. I know that Ted is very busy at the moment with several things that he has got in the pipeline so this could be the reason why he is hard to contact at the moment. This could be said for me also, and to add to that i am away from the country a lot these days playing in other events, so appologies for that (but i have to earn a living lol)
And i will say this too....There is no mention of the bpppa on the EPT website and there never will be to be quite honest! I play on the bpppa myself and wish to do so for some time to come, i get on very well with Ted and his staff, so there is absolutely no way i will put the bpppa down. The rise of the EPT simply means more quality pool events in the UK, and a real chance for players to make a few quid.

Danny me and Ted have always had a joke about him being in the shower everytime I ring. I joke with him about it everytime I see him. And I still help Ted out with other things on the BPPPA as I hope to be doing soon with the coaching programme. Ted runs a successful 9-Ball tour and the EPT hopefully will be running a successfull 8-Ball tour without any rivalry at this rate you will have both Presidents pulling their hair out.. lol

blimmy all I said was he didnt answer his phone, the reason was that he pressed the wrong button and deleted my message, when I emailed him re replied straight away and apologised for the mistake, he is happy for me to pay by cheque for just this once! Ted is a good man! see you all there on Sat then! looking forward to it, we have about 8 plauyers from Ipswich looking to spoil the party
