What a match for the first round, Ronnie O'Sullivan Vs Wu Chia-Ching. This will be the ultimate test for Ronnie playing the double World champion and in my opinion the best player in the world. What a match, cannot wait!

That sounds like a great match, although I dont agree with your opinion of Wu being the best player in the World. -----------------

Wu is the only player in the history of the game to hold both the World 8 and 9 ball championships. His break is unbelievable and perhaps is only bettered by Archer and Bustamante. He is only 16 and has shown composure beyond his years to achieve what he has done so far. I think Reyes is the best player ever but at the present time I would have to bet on Wu to beat Reyes in a match. Who do you think is the best player?

I'm not knocking Wu here as he has done outstanding for a 16yr old to win both the 8 + 9 ball World Championships. I would say there are better players around that are more consistent....Reyes being the top kiddy. I can't recall Wu winning any other events apart from the two mentioned earlier?? -----------------

No your right Wu hasn't won anything else, Reyes has won the Derby City Classic and the King of the Hill, both fantastic tournaments. Maybe Reyes slightly edges it with having more experince but I think Wu has all the makings of being the Worlds best player.

Wu's attempts in the IPT qualifiers led to nothing. He certainly is a good player but so far not even near to being the best in the world in my opinion.

Malaguista lets remember that Wu only played in two qualifiers whereas some players played in every one available. Other great players are already on the IPT but I believe the only reason Wu wasn't on the IPT originally is because his pool association didn't allow their players to compete on the IPT orginally.
The World Championships are the true test of the Worlds best players and I cannot believe that you think he is nowhere near one of the Worlds best when he has won TWO world titles in the same year at age 16!

I used to go all the time the the World Pool Masters, it's a lot of fun and the line up this year is fabulous with the UK fielding 25% of the field there's a very good chance of another UK winner - never mind that, the line up is awesome, and we'll need some people supporting our boys! PartyCasino.com World Pool Masters – the PlayersRaj Hundal - England Wu Chia-ching - Taiwan Thomas Engert - Germany Alex Pagulayan - Philippines Nick van den Berg - Holland Efren Reyes - Philippines Imran Majid - EnglandNiels Feijen - Holland Rodney Morris - USA Tony Drago - Malta Ralf Souquet - Germany Vilmos Foldes - Hungary Steve Davis - England Alex Lely - Holland Ronnie O’Sullivan - EnglandHiroshi Takenaka - Japan I feel guilty because I've highlighted the UK players but I'd be cheering for Tony Drago too as he lives in London as well. Don't miss a rare chance to see Efren play pool in Europe! I presume you're going Shir? Have fun!
