Liverpool would be okay but again it is just as far north as Manchester for us in south, Birmingham, Nottingham or London victoria would be my call but then it will probably end up in Manchester again...
Also i thought BPPPA had a meeting or discussion a couple weeks ago and the details were going to be released thru press release has this been done already or still in process? also wanna know about membership packages too which alot of us are still waiting for.

If you were going to get an event with enough tables in the south I vote Croydon or Colchester!

Why not start up a BPPPA Southern Tour. Surely somebody based in the south would be willing to become this tours tournament director. I can't believe that the bigger clubs in the south wouldn't want to host these events.

This has been discussed many times before and only recently. The change in circumstances regarding the BPPPA and Rileys is well documented. The BPPPA are now trying to secure sponsors and suitable venues for future events. In the meantime, as Ted has explained events in the immediate future will be held in Manchester and now a few other clubs have been made available too (see above post from Shir). I think there's little point in saying, this club / that club would be good if it's a Rileys venue given the current situation. And I hope we don't have to revist the tedium of the north / south debate again, for a few more weeks at least
