I know for a fact that in past seasons Richard and the others at the club have been unfortunate as they have had their schedules out long before other Tours, I will let Richard respond as to when the Mickey dates came out this year.

first of all we wanted to make sure our dates were not trampled on as in previous years. like chris said

secondly players who play the eurotour and dont do any good can still play in our events, anyway if you do any good you aint really gonna miss playing in a mickeys event.

what about players who don't go to euro tours for various reasons but want to play tournament play, there has to be a market for them

so by holding our tourneys on the last day of a euro tour we aren't stepping on anyones toes,

hope this answers your question

just to add that not every player might be as confident as you going to a euro tour so before they do will want to build confidence our events are perfect for match practice and with a decent entry fee we always offer a pretty good prize fund.

ive sent details to dave so hopefully he will post the info pretty soon,

but basically we are looking at running 8 and 10 ball events so players can practice for ept and boyzis tour

limited 64 players
races to 9 each player breaks twice at a time
all finals best of 3 sets first to 7 a set winner breaks

£30 entry

you can play at any event they are all open tourneys

usually we pay 700 or 800 to winner if we get 64, not bad for one days work
