Bit of history this year. The first event not to be held at a Rileys club in the 9 year history of the tour. Escape Pool Bar in Barnsley hosting event 2

It will be good to see the escape club,9 weeks to go seems along time but it will go fast. I have the Wavertree event this weekend, money match with Danny Byrne next week, T9B week after than money matches in feb against del sim and possibly Aslam Abubaker, should hopefully in good nick for new season. Just won the first bwppa event of the season in a snow hit Birmingham Beat Aslam Abubaker in semi and Fred Dinsmore in final Good send off for the European championships in under 3 weeks and regained the no1 spot on the GB rankings Full report, pics and video to follow. I'd like to add that Tony won the 2012 players' player of the year award so well done for that too mate! All in all I think it was a great weekend of pool with an international field. I'm sure Tony or Roy will correct me but was this weekend the highest number of international competitors?
Great to see the 2 Russians coming over and Fred from Ireland who we've (sort of) adopted. Good luck to those playing at the Euros. Looking forward to Barnsley in May already
