Hello,
Just wondering if everybody realised that you can watch matches from this tournament now on betandwin. There are some top-notch players involved- Tom Storm, Thorsten Hohmann, Vilmos Foldes and Sandor Tot spring to mind. They are playing 8 ball and 9 ball too, best 2 out of 3 sets so it's a very good format.

Just thought people might NEED to watch a little more live pool!

I forgot to say that if you want more info and to see the results and draw etc then go to

http://www.europeanpoolchampionships.com

Hope this helps,
Chris.

If you say so! I can only see one of them on the Euro Tour ranking list - guess it must be a huge coincidence, then!

Anyway featured matches today involve Thorsten Hohmann (now) and Christian Reimering later.

Chris.

Thorsten Hohmann and Christian Reimering's team, Fulda 1, in the final against a Polish team. Tom Storm's team lost out in the semis unfortunately. Matches from the final should be on bwin.com from 5:00 UK time onwards.

Chris.

Hello joma,
Make sure you're actually signed in first- sometimes it looks like you're signed in because the username box has your name in it but you still need to type your password in too. Then click on the match in the live bets section. In the top part of that screen there will be a small box with video on it and a play symbol below it (you know a symbol like this >). Click that and the video will load and run.

I know this has come too late for this tournament but you can watch the Euro Tour etc on the site too. I'd suggest you log in and try and watch some of the other live events now and check to see if this works for you. Otherwise you can email betandwin support through the site.

Hope this helps,
Chris.

I know.. Don't know if the European Championships site still works?
But Sandor Tot (without the h) now represents Serbia and Montenegro...
And Sandor Toth still represents Hungary...

Hi Shir,
As I said before- OK, if you say so. I know Sandor Tot now lives in Italy and has done for the last few years but if you check the results from the IPT site he was still listed as a Hungarian then:

"The international flavor is even more prevalent than before, with players such as 8-ball champion Sandor Tot of Hungary"

"He met Sandor Tot of Hungary, a European 8-ball champion"

"Hungary’s Sandor Tot bested Robert Wilson 10-8"

Anyway, I didn't create the thread to argue about Sandor Tot- just to tell people that there was top-class live pool on and show them where to find it!! Please let's not go on about what is, basically, an insignficant detail.

Chris.

yeah but the IPT site says a lot of things...
Not always everything that there is correct..

Just wanted to let you know that there are sometimes people with almost the same names.. ;)

I'm told that there is a "shoot out" when the teams tie at 2:2. That's what happened in the final yesterday but the site hasn't been updated since so I don't actually know whether Fulda 1 or the Polish team are the champions. If anyone knows then please let me know!

Thanks,
Chris.
