Only three days to go and I haven't seen any groupings yet for this event, have I missed something?

Will this be televised on Eurosport like the previous event?

I had a look on the Eurosport website a couple of days ago and could not find anything about it in the listings. I don't know if their live coverage of the US Open tennis is having an effect on it or not, but it will be interesting to see if they are going to show any highlights during the following week. It's weird. Ronnie planned to play in Reno. I would like to know what's happened.

Your right Shir, Ronnie didn't play at the Pot Black and he was meant to miss that so he could play in Reno, strange!

Hi... Just finished speaking with Kevin Trudeau and he said contract problems with the Venue in London was the main reason for the cancellation, along with the timescale left for tvrights etc and getting the tables cleared through custom with the current terrorism situation, but stressed the contracts were the main reason, but he told players at the players meeting that every player is guaranteed $13,000 at the Chicago event, eg if a player for example only wins $5000 then he will make that up to $13,000. Have not heard anymore here as to why Ronnie did not show. Jimmy White just lost 8-6, I spoke to him right after his game and he blamed his break for this defeat and he has now gone to the practice table and has said he will practice the break non stop until his next match, Jimmy was very unlucky to lost this match.. more later

Also announced at the players meeting was that this event will be broadcast live from Thursday using two tables not sure which ones these will be broadcast live on the IPT website but you need to subscribe, but also announced was that after this event all subscribers will be able to watch any match in any round all tables will be live from the Chicago event, also when signing up if you refer someone to sign up then that person will receive $20 and there is no limit to what you can make by doing this so if you refer 5 people then you will earn $100 so if you guys are going to sign up then in the referral line please put in Pro9 also you will get large reductions off all items in the IPT shop... more later
