I am pleased to announce that Marcus Chamat will also be attending EPT Harrow next weekend. Unfortunately Tony Drago will not be able to attend. If you plan on registering "last minute", please do so ASAP to avoid disappointment. The field is filling up very fast. See you in Harrow ! Mark

... and our chances of winning are diminishing with every one of your posts Mark But seriously congratulations to you, Daryl and Mark for attracting a great field. We all want to play against the very best players and this event looks like it will have them in abundance. All we need now is for Shir to come and it's happy days! HaHa. Thanks Riggers. My sentiments exactly and from a business standpoint this is costing us more and more with each post too, we will need to cover some of these top international players expenses to make it cost effective for them to come over and if you do the maths, you can see that we won't be making money on this event after all of this, but neither Daryl nor myself put money before the game and rather it costs us to ensure that all of the up and coming players over here have the opportunity to meet, play, learn from, and beat some of the greatest players on the planet. It is also our aim to get the press and major sponsors interested in what we are doing with the EPT. This will mean more money without increasing entry fees for future tournaments and can only be good for the EPT, the sport, and for everyone on all levels that have dreams and aspirations in the sport. I really do expect a few major surprises this weekend that will give a few people the confidence and the kick-start that they need to go to new heights, and very much hope that someone "unexpected" takes the winners cheque next Saturday. Good luck to all Mark SEG4L [ This message was edited by: UKSportsManagement on 2006-08-05 20:46 ]

I am the only player that looks happy in your last post Big Man!!!....lol Just to go along woth Marks comments, This has cost us an arm and a leg upto now, but its all in the name of our sport, and we are giving it our best efforts in order to raise the bar a few notches, something thats been lacking in this coumtry for some time now! We have MAJOR, MAJOR things already in the pipeline that will blow UK pool through the roof, but remember Rome wasnt built in a day, etc etc etc. Any player that doesnt strive to be part of the EPT early, is a fool to them selves!!!......and to all of the players who has showed support at the begining, you deserve whats coming to you! More info soon. D4RYL. [ This message was edited by: dazzler on 2006-08-06 01:14 ]

Big Dave, amazing stuff. Thank You ! As for what Daryl's saying, we're working on something pretty big and those players that have some EPT points/ranking will have a head start on the rest. More to be announced soon but in the mean time, enjoy yourselves and I look forward very much to making you welcome at Harrow. I can say a little Danny, but not too much at this stage. We're hoping that the top 32/64 will get to shoot in our own "king of the hill". Cannot say anymore or make any guarantees until everything is in place but I am a man of my word and all I can do for now is give you my word that both myself and Daryl are working as hard as we can to do something which will open more than a few eyes... wide, and is very likely to come off. That aside, all I can tell you is that The EPT is here to stay so for now, just enjoy our tournaments, win some money and if everything goes to plan, you will be well placed to be part of a much much bigger picture, 'nuff said! Daryl is right, Rome wasn't built in a day, but I think they did a pretty good job and while your idea was a good one, I can assure you that we're aiming a lot higher than you may think Danny! We are striving to ensure that we only use the best ingredients in our sticky toffee puddings, if you know what I mean. We're dying to make an announcement but while we already have verbal agreements in place that look rock solid, we will keep our mouths firmly shut until everything is in place and we are certain that we can keep any promises that we make. For any of you that are still undecided, if you want to play in Harrow please don't leave it too long and it may just be worth you making sure you're somewhere in the rankings before we start getting fields of 200 +, which may well happen, but for now all we can promise you an £8000 guaranteed prize fund for this weekend, and an opportunity to get to know some of the biggest names, I,m sure that we could all find worse things to do with our time http://www.empirepooltour.com/gpage8.htmlWe are now VERY close to full Hope to see you there ! Blimey ! Remember, rumours are well, just rumours and we have no affiliation with The IPT. Again, please just enjoy our tournaments because that is all we can guarantee for now but rest assured I am doing utmost to make you all smile and if things go to plan, the early runners will be rewarded with a "head start" towards something very exciting ! It may take a number of months yet (if at all) to set this all up properly. Please just concentrate on what is on the table now. Its a pretty good deal in itself. Thanks!! It would be great if the draw could be done Thursday night or even Friday morning/lunchtime because some of us have a long drive Friday night so won't get to see it.
