Mark Mills is hosting a ring game in Manchester but I wanted to know what exactly is a ring game? I know it is for 10 players but I dont know how it works or what the rules are?

Any number of players, we play with anything from 3 to 10 players in Leeds. I organise them all the time up here. Open invitation to anyone that wants to join us.

I haven't got time to explain, going into a meeting but perhaps one of the boys can help (PC, Riggers, Surgeon?)

A very comprehensive thread, just about every rule iteration covered here. 10 ball seems to be the game of choice. For some reason, that extra ball makes a whole lotta difference!!

It is not as easy in 10 ball to make a ball off the break that is the main reason and from what I have been told they play 10 in most ring games in the US

One ring game that is on for sure will be on the Friday night at Rileys Stretford (Manchester) this is the Friday night before the BPPPA event on the saturday and sunday so for those of you travelling up on the Friday it is £20 entry fee and a maximum of 10 players at the moment 5 players have entered, it will be a winner take all and last man standing.

Addition to last post... There was going to be a £100 pound ring on the same night but the Euro-Clashes in Switzerland so the main boys will probably be there but if there are between 5 and 10 players interested in a £50 winner take all ring game then let me know I have two tables in the matchroom on reserve for that night.
