The next Spanish 9 ball tournament is not far away, in fact it is the weekend after the Dutch Eurotour so come and spend your winnings in sunny Spain.

The venue is in Malaga and is in a club which is 10 minutes from the airport by taxi.
There will be two tournaments taking place, the International played on eight 9 foot Dynamic tables and a closed competition for Spanish players from the 2nd and 3rd divisions which is played on 7 foot tables.

Entry fee is 90 euros and prize money is:

    1st.............3000 euros
    2nd............1600 euros
    3rd/4th.........800 euros
    5th/8th.........400 euros
    9th/16th........200 euros
    17th/32nd......100 euros

The 1st phase is played in groups of a maximum of 6 players, round robin style. From this phase, 48 will qualify for the final phase and will join the top 16 from last year

Oh, that's a shame, it is really hard these days to find dates that don't clash with anything

shame about the clash, would have been nice to have a few days away in sunnier climates, especially when our summer will be all gone by then...

Yes there is, we probably won't be able to put it on the EPBF calendar due to the fact that I have heard of a sudden rise in Sanction Fees.
All details will be put on the Pro9 website

Don't see any reason why you couldn't play Daz unless we ban you for taking the money out of Spain last year!!!!

The EPBF ban on players in July was because there was a WPA Sanctioned event taking place at the same time. It wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Thanks for good wishes

Life in Malaga is great thanks
-----------------------------------
If the 9 Ball is confirmed for the PI, I will be going. Won't go for the 10 Ball.

Answer for Devil.

I have heard from two sources, (one was posted on here by Maurice Houben) that the EPBF sanction fee is rising from 200 euros per event to 500 euros per day of each event. If that is the case, we simply could not afford to have our tournaments sanctioned.
I will speak to Gre Leenders next week in Germany to get an update.
