A press release from Estonian Pool Federation and Baribal Billiard Club:
Dear All,
We are glad to invite You all to Baribal Open 2008 which is held from 18.09.2008 to 21.09.2008 in Baribal Billiard Club.
Venue.
Baribal Billiard Club. The club’s address is Tartu highway 63/Hermanni 1, Tallinn, Estonia. 24 9ft Brunswick Metro tables.
Schedule.
18.09.2008 – Arrival day. Accreditation from 19.00 till 22.00. In case someone arrives later please let us know in your registration.
19.09.2008 – 10.00 – Start of the matches.
21.08.2008 – Departure.
Tournament.
The discipline is 9 ball, race to 9 with alternative break. Double elimination. Last 32 single elimination.
Registration.
The entry-fee is 50€ and please send the confirmation of your participation to juri@wantcue.eu. In case of registration there is an obligation to pay entry-fee. Registration closes 15.09.2008 at 21.00.
Prizefund.
The total prizefund is 10 000€.
Accomodation.
Reval Park Hotel & Casino****:
Double room 75€ per room, per night
The hotel locates 10 min from the venue.
PS! The room reservation must be made till 18.08.2008, since later we are not able to promise the availability of rooms.

Fun.
On Friday evening there will be held a poker tournament for participants. On Saturday evening we will hold a finnish trademark – Shoot Out tournament. Shoot-Out is a tournament race to 1 with entry-fee 5€ and winner takes it all.

Acctually in Finland the prizemoney last time for the shootout was if I remember correctly 2300 EUR 8-) . The thing is that when 4 players are left then there will be an auction for 4 spots against them

There isn't any age limit for pool tournament, but for poker tournament the age limit is 21.
