I can't find a flyer for this event. Does anyone have any information about it i.e.: - Start / end dates & times - Entry fee - Do you have to enter in advance? - Format - Rule set

The flyer has beeen posted here at least twice and is also on the EPBF site. Someone must have seen it as we have had a terrific response from the UK. 12 or 14 players if my memory serves me correctly. The closing date for this comp. has now passed but I could still swing things if necessary.

Not at the moment but before long I hope that it will be published. I can't do everything myself!!!!! There are about 20 tournaments running that week and involve over 1500 players. You will get the news when it happens

Judging by the unfortunate injury to Michael Owen and the second half performance last night I think we should be pretty safe diamond.

!!! QUOTE !!! Big Dave, Is there a list of entered players anywhere online?
The list of entrants has now been published, everything is all in Spanish so I will explain the route: Open the website, www.confederacionpool.com In the orange section where the guy is shooting a ball, click on "Visita ya los listados del Campeonato" then click on ·Jugadores· then "Individuales" then "Campeonato de España, 2ª Fase Open B9" then "Nombre" then you can scroll through the entries. On this page there are 150 players and another 32 will be added from a qualifying tournament that is being held just before the main event so it is looking like less than 200 players in the tournament. Sorry that it is so complicated but I cannot find a direct link to the page. To make life easier, here are the entries from the UK and Malta: Darren Appleton Shane Appleton Brett Armer Karl Boyes Tony Drago Simon D'Vali Mick Hill Imran Majid Chris Melling Daryl Peach Lee Rigby Kevin Uzzell Andy Worthington Dave Wright There is a lot of talent here so I think that the prize money could well go back to the UK. Results will be posted as they happen on the same website, so keep tuned. If anyone thinks that they have registered for this event and their name is not on this list, please contact me urgently, 00 34 678 274 552 Peter [ This message was edited by: malaguista on 2006-06-24 10:25 ]

Tony Drago, Imran Majid and local player Eduardo Guillen have been invited by the Royal Spanish Federation of Billiards to give a snooker demonstration during this week. Snooker is not a big sport in Spain due to lack of tables so there should be plenty of interest from the fans. The plan is at the moment, for three 1 hour sessions where each will play each other, probably a couple of frames unless the Tornado starts firing on all cylinders, remember he once completed a frame in less than 3 minutes. These matches should be on Live Stream, more info when I have it. [ This message was edited by: malaguista on 2006-06-25 07:53 ]
