The way things shaped up and on current form I really felt the winner was probably going to come from the Imran v Daz match. What a shame we couldn;t have had an all brit final!
So pleased for Daz though because I know he's been working hard towards this for many weeks now and it's finally paid off. Also it's great to add another brit to the line of winners in the last 12 months. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but I reckon that 4 british wins in the last 7 euro tours with 4 different brits. That must be some kind of record for a european country. Profile

Just got back, what a top event for the Brits!
Big congrats to Martin, he played some fantastic pool, and to come back from 7-2 down to beat Fabio, well that was just brilliant! Mark v Karl was a great match to watch, Karl came back fantastically and he almost won it with a long table bank on the 9 when he was 8-7 up, it rattled in the jaws and Mark won that then the next rack to win it. Daz was simply awesome in the Final, me and Alan had trouble in actually remembering if Daz missed a single ball! Congrats Daz and good luck in the UAE! "Is that the Thames or the Med?"
