Yes a fantastic performance by Chappers. And Daz v Imran to qualify will be a cracker. A repeat of the GB9 semi final when Daz was on the wrong end of a big scoreline in Imran's favour. Will he get revenge?

Don't wish to speak to soon but it's looking good for the British guys with 2 already in the Last 16 and 3 others on the verge. Great win for Appleton against Drago.

Last 16 line up so far:

Mark Gray v Karl Boyes/R Babica
David Alcaide v Fazanes/Juva
Darren Appleton v Ortmann/Chamat
van Den berg/Larsen v Imran Majid/Serge
T Kaplan v Tschudi/Kempter
Staab/Vassalos v Daryl Peach/Damoulakis
Fejen/Iacobucci v Guzmann/Gama
Engert/Yassin v Muratore

Good luck guys

Great win for Darren. Good to see Boyzi in the mix again and wouldn't it be nice to add his name to the growing number of brit winners? Shame he has to play Mark next and one will have to go out. Have to say Imran looking so strong now and is probably favourite in my eyes judging by his current form.

But there is no doubt in my mind the player of the tournament so far is Martin Chapman. Great performance and hopefully the start of many more last 32 finishes or better. Just brilliant chappers!

Phew... Imran was 8-4 up against Nick van den Berg in his Quarter-Final and it's been a real drawn-out match finishing ages after all the other Q-Finals... Nick kept catching up until the score was 8-8 for ages.... Then Imran just managed to get over the line with an 8-9 win!

I wonder what was going on?

Can you imagine the statistic probability of Imran and Darren drawing each other during the last few weeks in a pro event :-), unbelievably twice in the same same event (unless its in the finals of course). And I wonder in what direction the win will go to this time.
