I just got a text from Daz as him and Karl stayed on for the 8 ball tournament in Malaga run by the Spanish Pool Federation. I'm sure some other brits stayed on too but only have this info from Daz... Apparently karl beat Putnik 7.6 from 6.5 down and Putnik smashed his cue in frustration afterwards. Karl joins Daz in the semis (not sure if they play each other). Daz's results have been 6.0, 6.0, 6.0, 6.3, 7.6, 7.0, 7.0 so I think it's fair to say he's playing rather well

Daz is playing at the moment with Spanish player Antonio Fazanes, if he wins, he could be playing Karl Boyes in the final. Daz and Fazanes are 2-2 in a race to 7. Boyzi is 5 - 3 up against German Thomas Luttich. Daz´s match is on webcam as will be the final which will take place at 1.00 pm English time. Daz is now 3-3 THe link is: Spanish 8 Ball[ This message was edited by: malaguista on 2007-12-10 11:52 ]

Is anyone else just getting a plug-in error at that site, or can you view the video? Maybe I need to upgrade my QuickTime player?

I can view it perfectly although I am watching it live.
If the link isn´t working try to go through the website
www.confederacionpool.com
then click on the lowerposter on the left, the one that has pool balls on it and then click on webcam online.
hope that works.

I've tested it in both Firefox and IE7... IE crashes, and Firefox says it's downloading data from the site, but my router clearly indicates it's not handling any traffic.
I can see the scores underrneath, but only the WQuickTime "Q" logo where the video should be?
I've tested my QuickTime player and all seems well... To be honest I've never been able to see the web streams from the Spanish events.
Can anyone else see the video?
