I saw this posted on Ronnie O'Sullivan's forum... "In today's Metro (free newspaper in UK cities) it says that Ronnie will be playing in the UK 8 Ball Open at Excel Arena in London in October....of course whether he does actually attend is other matter!" This is interesting, are The Metro the first to know that the IPT have confirmed the Excel Arena as the IPT UK Championship? Or is this a totally different event? ----------------- Chris @ Pro9

The Excel arena is a quality place, easy to get too, excellent parking, and a superb venue.
they couldn't have got a much better place.

Hmmm. Not everyone... I guess it's also time to admit that I have the 2005 World Pool Masters table (the one that Raj won on) in my lounge isn't it? http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrpies/64037186/The Steve Davis thing is so other people would appreciate it, obviously it matters more to me that the Hitman won like a legend on it! I should be a lot better than I am with that table. But I blame it on long working hours.... Not a lack of talent!
