for me it has to be daryl's fluked 8 ball in the final..
to make the 8 off of 3 rails after missing it by what seemed like 2ft..
then with zero remorse to shuffle around the table and knock the 9 in and to not even acknowledge gomez was sheer class...

obviously we cant overlook one of the biggest final twiches ever...
the gomez 5 ball as i like to call it...
that twitch was so big had he got it he could have shot the 6 from the cafe outside the venue...
thanks to extreme pressure you cant beat watching a little phillipino boy become blind..
a bit harsh maybe, but you get the point..

Surely its got to be the Bustemante 3-9 carom foul in the Semi final, they way Daryl come back and held himself together with the crown booing was fantastic.
My favourite moment in the final has to be when gomez put peach behind the 7 ball with the 1 ball next to the 8. Peach comes off two rails, sends the 1 up table and the cueball glances the 8, into the rail and behind the 9 ball. Daryls reaction of trying to get the audience to cheer was great, absolutly loved it.
Going on to the crowd i thought that they were really unsports like by booing Daryl when he got back against fransisco, and when he scratched ect in the final. Michaela Tabb had a very difficult job to do in that final and i feel she handled it as well as she could have

There were so many fantastic moments this year and there were tears in my eyes as the final 9 went in against Gomez but my over riding memory will be how Daryl knocked in that finish from the 3 ball after Busta's famous foul on the 9. He potted the 3 under extreme pressure and left a horrible 4 into a blind pocket. I really feared he would tweak it but he just ramed it home. Then what can you say about the clip on the 7 ball after half hooking himself behind the 8? Wow! Stuff of dreams! I think that clearance will inspire me whenever I'm in a pressure situation because I'll just tell myself this can't be anywhere near as hard as Daryl's clearance against Busta  [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2007-11-12 10:37 ]

sorry i forgot to mention about the cry Daryl made when he picked up the WPC trophy at the end. "yyyeeeeeaaaahhhhhh"

one of the funniest things to come from the commentators was the phillipino lad describing a very basic screw shot by johnny archer..
which he executed horribly by the way..
"wow, did you see that, johnny's cue power.. the pro's make that shot look so easy. what an amazing draw stroke the was..."
i swear if your nana played it you'd still say "nana that really was horrific.."

Daryl will tell you that 8-ball he missed, that he played it just for exhibition purposes, DAZZLER i told you that you rememered some shots I showed you coz I miss them regular by that margin. (no comment please Riggers..lol)
