In the mist of all thats happened over the last several days I would like to add just a well done to a certain Mr Osborne, although he will be the first to admit the worlds this year were not as he would have wished I think he will be proud of the support he has shown to Daryl during the latter stages of the championships.....Without doubt Craig has kept Daryl in check with his emmotions and also been there to offer words of support and encouragement, I cannot think of a better person who I would want by my side under those extreme circumstances....... Well done mate! ps Daryl you complete legend! thank god neither of us have any hair as we would both be bald now anyway superb work Mr Peach pps Karl......Fantastic play, Ossie said you could do well! I am so pleased for you You are now going to being taken seriously by all the top world players, no one is going to want to play you any more!!!!!! Regards Phil "The Punter" Morgan.........Tired but very happy!

In my line of work, Oz will be described as a "Wingman", and he's done well being Daryl's Wingman! Thanks Oz, every winner needs a support base for continued success and you did it for Daryl, well done again pal.

Wouldn't it be nice if more of the UK based players had stuck around to watch Daryl in the final? not sure if they had all gone home after being knocked out but I would have thought that the flights would be booked for after the final? Daryl deserved to have more people watching him! although the support he did get was worth a thousand men!

It looks like the whole tournament was a good team effort from the Brits. Well done Oz, Pat, Shirley & Dez.

think there are a few people who helped Dazzler become World Champ. But I'm sure the main man was Shotgun - Craig Osborne, he clearly made a massive difference. Not only giving wise words and support but being the cheerleader from the whole of Pro9!!
Also Karl Boyes awesome achievement of the semis must have given Daryl belief throughout the tournament.

WOW - my own thread, lol. thanks Phil and to all for the comments. had a few players say the same to me including Raj, Jim and neils feijen - but to be honest i think i will just write the story of how i roomed with a world Champion (see the other thread) - i have lots of stories about this World Championships and i dont really know where to start when the questions start coming in to me from other players.
Ted Learner was Grilling me last night along with Neils Feijen - both wanting to know every detail - lol.... While i loved telling the stories i think i would prefer to write a story, let Daz endorse it and then put it out there for everyone who cares to read.
Ossie - a absolute honour and privelege to have been allowed to be a part of History for UK and World Pool, Daz - i thank you again.
