How come that on the flyer for the satellite it says the dates for the ipt qualifier at victorias is 23rd-26th June but on the ipt website it says the dates are 23rd-25th June?

With Rico Diks getting through the Swiss qualifier, this Victoria Satellite is really up for grabs - YOU could be playing on the IPT for as little as £20.
The winner of this event is guaranteed entry into the UK IPT Qualifier - if we get 55 players or more, APN will guarantee 2 spots worth $1000 dollars each
Entry Fee Only £20 - No Dress Code - World Standardised Rules - Registration Sunday 11th June, 9.30 am - Riley's Victoria

World Standardised Rules?
Any particular reason for not playing IPT rules in an IPT qualifier?

Admin Warning: Post Deleted + 1 month banHarsh perhaps, but with this member's history, combined with the fact that I spoke with him on Saturday about my zero tolerance on this very subject - and then he breaks two of the golden rules in a single post! I can't sell advertising if these rules are broken. Simple as! 1. No-one is to insult, degrade, slate or generally post negative views about other players or members of the site. If you can't say anything nice, then keep it to yourself.
2. Try to keep the sexual conversations to a minimum - I understand it's just a bit of fun, but please remember there are not only under 18's on this site but also others who may be offended by vulgar comments.[ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2006-06-05 10:02 ]

It is not officially an IPT qualifier, we opted world standardised rules because of the time constraints we had in getting the tournament on We wanted to attract as many players as possible so kept the rules to what people would know (we hope!!!) It is then up to them to learn the IPT rules should they win.
Hope that is a fair enough answer Riggers?

Does this mean that if you get 54 runners then there will not be a spot available? Just trying to figure out if that is what is mean't by kingoftherack's post.

Come on Gareth time to leave the APN alone. I got banned for over a year on this site and count yourself lucky you didnt banned like I did then and now you have only been banned for a month. Now I am a born again Pro9er on this site. I know it was fun and a wind-up back then on all the stuff we did in the day of pro9.co.uk, We are the greatest faction ever - The Darkside & Simsman Connection. We will be remembered for back then in that era and shall stay that way.
