The event in Portsmouth has been cancelled apparently, I sent Doug a pm yesterday and it has been postponed untill next year due to the tables not being up to scratch, I think he will be holding the comp when the tables get recovered in the new year.

Straight Eight pm me-I struggle to find anyone to practice against and god I need the practice at the moment!!! I live in Gosport so not a million miles away. Hopefully hear from you soon bud.

If you live in Gosport I will be starting a 9 ball league in the 147 snooker and pool club in the high st. If you are around on sunday evening pop in and see me ask for chris billings.

Sounds good Blackref-one concern though. I used to be member of the 147 but the tables used to be awful-have they sorted them yet?

do honestly think i would put a league on in a club if the tables were not going to be sorted i have got to new clothes for the manager to recover the tables. Any way in what way were the tables awful. may be I can ask to get them sorted when he recovers the tables. Is there another club in the area with more tables apart from bowlblexand C&a Snooker.
