Simonis European Challenge Cup 2007This is a club "teams" event for all of Europe. Apparently the national governing bodies nominate the best teams and you're in! Obviously the UK has no national inter-club action at the moment, and therefore no team to qualify for this event, but it would be nice to see us represented at this event at some time in the future. Incidentally, we're having a bit of fun on Bwin at the moment... They're offering 8/1 and 9/1 on a dry break at 8-Ball, over a little better than evens on 1 ball made on the break, so we're betting on both and if they make 1-Ball we get our money back (plus a tiny bit extra) and if the break dry, we get "loads of moneyyyyyyyyyyy". They're having a little trouble getting the one-ball tight on the pack, and as they are trying to make it in the side we've got our fingers crossed! (For the sake of "balance" I'll just point out that I'm only betting modest "fun" amounts, and the value of shares may go down as well as up!)

LOOOOOOOL... This is tooooo funny! There's a technical glitch at the venue (not sure what it is) but they stopped bets and not only that, but because there are outstanding bets, they've stopped the players playing too... ... But the camera is still going, and we're watching two players sitting in their chairs! HILARIOUS

We did have the Midlands Mosconi Cup...i must've missed the Rack n Roll's invite.
Seriously though it looks like a great event, quite prestigious title too i guess?
