I would like to know why that none of the UK tours have bothered to have 14.1 events? esp when there are guys that compete on the Euro Tour. 8-ball is great, 9-ball is cool, but Straight Pool is a game that the best player really does come out on top. 5 players are gonna be in the final day and if I had money, I would bet on it. the 5 are Mike Siegel, Ralf Souquet, Oliver Ortman, Thorsten Hohman and Niels Fejin, if Efren is there, then count him in there too to make it 6. Mika and the other invited players are good, but they ain't cuttin' the mustard in this one, The Black Widow, has a good outside chance as she is a very consistant and determined player, but it's 60/40 with her as I'm not exactly of how sharp she is at Straight Pool, but I'll bet that from playing at the Amsterdam Room in NYC, that she will have played in alot of the Straight Pool leagues there over the years and so I've got a sneeky feeling that she'll be there on the final day , the rest of the 16 spots will depend on who is there competeing in the qualifiers and I'll give my views on it better for the remaining players then I would like to see a UK Straight Pool Championships or a British All-Round tournament with 3 full rack games, like 1 Pocket, Banks and Straight , that would be finger lickin' good How do you guys think the World 14.1 will fair out?

I´ve been to the States twice in the past month and I am tired ( I am getting old you know) and I am also involved in the preparation for Seville.

How do you guys think the World 14.1 will fair out? Max Eberle could win the tournament? Max is a great player as of this hour he is seven wins and no loses in his group. Niels Fejin is not playing in the event look for Mike Siegel at the end also. ----------------- HarryTheHat "Never hold discussions with the monkey when the organ grinder is in the room" Sir Winston Churc [ This message was edited by: HarryTheHat on 2006-06-02 05:59 ]

Yeah , I wouldn't be suprised if Sigel wins it because as he admitted, Straight Pool is his best game, he has had a few 150 and out finishes against quite a few notoriously great players and I think that that same ability will be very much with him, but anything can happen in a tournament
