What are the playing conditions like? Blue_Suede - I looked on the website a few days ago to see what the situation is with non-members joining the tour or attending selected events but couldn't find anything. Can you share this info with us? [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2007-09-20 11:02 ]

Playing conditions are ok. We have some TV match balls and some players bring their own which usually covers all tables in use. Season 2007/2008 runs from Apr 07 to Mar 08. Rileys - 7 events Styx - 3 events Reardons - 1 event Suzy Q - 1 event Q Club - 2 events There are 8 events left in this season and only 1 at Rileys with the remainder at the latter venues. Membership for the whole season is £25 and this entitles you to a reduction in tournament entry fees plus discounts at local Scottish clubs. Anyone can turn up and compete as a "non-member" but they will pay an additonal fee (details of which are released prior to each event). This is along the same lines as other tours. Most events are £25 for non-member, £20 member, £10 junior & ladies. We usually get between 60-70 players per event and the standard is improving year on year. It'll be easy money for you English sharks. Prize money is usally around £1200 or so per event with £400 to the winner. The vast majority of events are played out as a one day comp, starting at midday ending around 11pm. Hope that helps. [ This message was edited by: devil on 2007-09-20 12:33 ]

We're also looking for some money games up here if players are willing to travel up?I've spoke with the top 6 and all are willing to play for some cash. PM me for details if you're interested. Maybe if you're considering coming up for an event, we could arrange some matches the day prior?........make it all worthwhile for you! [ This message was edited by: devil on 2007-09-20 16:49 ]

Darkside........the Destroyer is Davy Jack and not Geoff......he comes on here regularly so I will leave it up to him to reply to you. Dyno.......9 ball.....singles matches against the top 6 players or so......worth your while for couple days break!......although you will need to give racks to most of them........races to 10 for £100, £200 etc. [ This message was edited by: devil on 2007-09-21 11:05 ]
