Hello Everyone,
I would like to enquire whether or not the move to play most of the tour events for the BPPPA main tour is a permanent change. I am based in Co Durham and now have at least the time, money to re-join the pro ranks after a few years off. Having the tours played at Manchester would make it accessible to me, and I guess more northern players so I hope this is the case.
Cheers for any help given.

Hi Mal, not seen you around here for a while Lee Rigby is setting up a new Tour starting from next year known as the Great Britain 9-Ball Tour. There have been a few articles on it aswell as forum posts, one of them is here:- http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/viewtopic.php?topic=1162&forum=2But you can find more info if you just have a search through the forums.

Alright Buckster.
I still play, have improved my snooker a million times over regularly knocking in 50+ in most practise frames with a few centuries. I miss the old Pool though!
Your post raises more questions for me!
Travelling right down to London really doesn't do it for me, so if BPPPA continue to play in Stretford I would be inclined to join that one at the minute.
I hope the creation of another pool tour is not politics rearing it's ugly head again. I thought the BPPPA was the answer to all this but maybe not.
Can't wait to start playing again.

Might need to be clearer...
The BPPPA Main Tour is finishing this year. The GB9BT will be the Main Tour for the UK from next year.

Are you havin' a laugh! If the tours all stayed up north you would be joining a 40 player tour. Would that "Do it for you" LOL. Only jesting, BUT there is some truth in it! ----------------- [ This message was edited by: Shooter on 2007-08-29 18:33 ]

As long as I get to play without travelling to London every month I would be happy. I'm sure Scottish players agree! I hope this tour change lasts for the duration, and is well-ran. I'll be joining. I'm also in for the London 9-Ball Classic and turning up for the US qualifier to get some tournament practise. [ This message was edited by: mal_clarke on 2007-08-29 19:45 ]
