just like to report on a great 10 days we had in las vegas
and some amazing achievements in quality fields!
it was our 3rd time to the event last time we did ok in 2003 but this year we felt stronger and more experienced and i had a feeling we was going to do well!
with over 7,000 players and loads of diff events with over 200 tables all played in riviero hotel
andy breen got 2nd in new members event picking up $4,000 well done m8
masters event was amazing mick hill 1st karl boyes 2nd andy richardson 3rd melling 9th some results mick beat boyes 7-4 ,then in winners final mick beat richardson 7-6 andy was very unlucky at 6-5 up! boyes beat melling 7-2 and losers final boyes beat richardson 7-2!
in the final mick beat boyes 7-5!
between them they picked up around $15,000
in the grand masters myself won it and the final was memorable for the atmosphere between the brits and the americans was like been at a football match lets just say there wasnt any love lost in the match between me and him and the supporters I played jason kirkwood in final i lost the first match 9-2 he played brilliant but he at to beat me twice because i come through winners side bracket! last match i got my break and game going and held him off to win 9-6 and the brits got some side bets was a great night for us! i picked up $3,750
in the masters team events we topped the group after qualiying for last 8 thru double elim stages ..last 8 was round robin top 2 play eachother in final
unfortunatley we lost the final 13-11 to young guns they played well but got some nice run too..didnt really happen for us which was dissapointing because we beat them in group earlier in the day 13-9!
we picked up $4,500 for team! and 2nd!
also we won lots of mini tournaments between us!
and i played eric durban for $2,000 and before the match him and his backers etc were taking the go to the bathroom out of us thinking we couldnt win/play allsorts of silly things were getting said but mainly they were disrespectfull to us, so it made me more up for the game and the lads were right behind me this match wasnt about the money we just wanted to shut them up and put them in there place!.. and am happy to say i did a number on him 11-1
before the week we would have been more than happy with what we did, well done to all brits and its good to see souquet and ouchan win 9ball
europeans swept up!
roll on ipt!

Is this an annual thing and what are the entry fees?

Different class mate. Well done. Really shows the world what the UK is all about.
PS: chaps, Daz is being modest on the money match. He ran a 6 pack at the start, opponent got one visit where he won his only frame and then Daz ran the match out, he, he!

Fantastic results. For some of us this was never in doubt. It's about time the rest of the world woke up and realised what damage Daz & Mick are going to do on the IPT. I mean, I even read a post on azb listing Daz as one of the players likely to drop off the tour after the first season I'd love to meet this guy and offer a bet on that one! Well done to all of you. Well done lads. We have a team from Belfast going over next year (maybe 2?) I'll be there. Cant wait. EPT will be my first event so hopefully in a years time i'll be ready for BCA. There was a team over this year but they didnt do half as well as you guys.
Although you won the 2k Daz maybe you should have took the foot off the gas a bit and got more $$$$ out of those fools?? How dare they!!

If you mean the Colchester Open I did Ok I guess. Andy Worthington beat me in last 16 but I had some good performances up to that beating a couple of decent players from Belgium - both 9-4.
