Back on weekly from this Sunday. 1pm start and £10 entry. Alternate break race to 8. Handicap system with max headstart of 4 racks. Under 18's are welcome to play but they will be paid any winnings in the form of club vouchers. Tables will most likely be tapped. Any Sundays where it clashes with other tournaments ie 19th August Chichester there will be no tournament. Trying to gauge interest before this Sunday so please either ring the club on 01273 604375 and get your name down or email me: fatbirdsarehardertokidnap@hotmail.comThere's also free parking in London Road car park on Sundays. Dave McCarthy PS Can you add this to the Calendar please Big Man? [ This message was edited by: DaveMc on 2007-08-08 19:25 ]

Well it clashes this Sunday with the BPPPA 8 Ball comp! But I guess you are a long way from Barnsley [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2007-08-08 21:38 ]

Lol if I could make it up to Barnsley for the 8 ball myself there would be no comp! As it stands I can't which is a real shame cos the last one was an absolute cracker and the venue is up there with the best in the UK.

Dave, is this following the same format as its previous incarnation on monday nights as being a season with a play-off/grand final at the end?

There will be just need to get a consistent field established first to make it worthwhile.
Its been moved to Sunday to avoid the problems of no under 18s after 6 pm and paying any of them "winnings" in vouchers keeps us clear of the gambling laws.
