Hello folks from beyond the grave, it's been a while and to you all I say hi. Well I'm going to get straight to the point... A new "Players Tour" will be starting in January 08 from the 25th-30th. The prize fund is a staggering $50000 with the entry at $1000 per man. You heard the whispers then the murmurs now I'm giving you the announcement. The 1st event is at the Redwood hotel and country club in Failand Bristol, and the next will be in Spain. It will be a minimum field of 32 players and a maximum 64, and believe me the world's best are confirmed. In Europe alone I've secured the elite, from The Dazzler ,Dynamite, Majid, Chamat, Fabio, Drago, Holtz, Alcaide, Hill, ............etc etc you get my point "The Players tour" The Format is double elim 8-9-and 10 ball How this works is as follows each match will lag for the format, best of 5 lag and you can pick 8-9-or 10 ball for that match only. 8 ball is a race to 15...9-10 ball race to 21,over two sessions on the winners side and a straight match on the 1 loss,8 ball race to 10 9-10 ball race to 15. Imagine playing say Souquet and you think you have a better 8 ball game then WIN THE LAG, and play him at that. This is going to be AWSOME . I will let you know in due course with more details and a flyer, so if you think you're the man at pool then get ready to be apart of "A Fistful Of Dollars". More info coming soon. contact info fistfulofdollars@hotmail.co.ukRedwood hotel www.foliohotels.com/redwood [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-08-08 21:39 ]

If there are only 32 runners then $18000 will be added to the prize fund - unprecedented in UK terms

They can all play in the event, the problem with the players you mention is the cost of travel on top of accommodation and entry fee, this is why in the past we have seen fewer ASians and US based players travelling to events in Europe.
This is why the players listed above are all European based, there is however nothing stopping anyone from entering

Can't wait! Last time I backed you the tournament was run by a billionaire who suddenly lost his cheque book when it came to paying out the dosh

In that same period the EPBF is planning a European Masters tournament related on the Eurotour. The WPA is planning a World Tour tournament and last but not least: 9th Annual Open Weert 9-ball Championships 23-27 January 2008. Will wonder me if you get all these players you named....

Boyzi.. i'll put up half of your entry fee, in return for half your winnings.
If you find another person to do the same.. you can't lose!
(or win)
