There is the possibility that I will be running a 16 man 10 ball tournament in September. Ok here's the format:

16 men
£150 entry
Single Elimination
Matches best of 5 sets, sets race to 8
Winner Breaks

Prize money:
Winner: £1000
R-Up: £600
Semi: £400

Thoughts people please, there could also be the possibility of holding qualifiers giving every player the chance to play. Maybe one day, maybe two day not sure yet.

liverpool good!

much as i like mikeys they need to tighten them bags up they played like 6/1/2 inch when held masters there! besides that great club and nice tables!! just play too easy!

think u should extend it to 32 runners cusack

pay to qfs

winner 2k
runner up 1k
semis 500
qfs 200
run 8 Qualifers
24 in main draw!

1st-2nd sept would be great !
10ball winner breaks

id be up for that

This was going to be run in Liverpool, making it 32 runners wouldnt be a problem if there would be sufficient interest. Obviously this would be another major comp up north but you could hold a few qualifiers at Mickeys over a weekend, maybe a qualifier or two in Ipswich and Victoria? Maybe BigDave could do a pro9 qualifier down south like he did for the Norway thing.

Set up payments via paypal and a money transfer account Mark it is a lot easier for players to pay in the same way I did for the Grand Masters.

Il be trying to get a date for this at the weekend while im in Liverpool. Probably going to be looking at around mid october, there seems to be a few events popping up in september and also this would give enough time for quite a few clubs to run qualifiers.
