Hope to see many players from the UK in Oslo this summer!

Cheap flighttickets can be bought by Ryanair, from London to Torp, which is about 2 hours away from the venue.

In this tournament there are groupstages and race to 5 with alternate break. This means that you get more matches than in other big tournaments, and your chances of winning against the best players are higher!!! :) Even I can win some matches...... ;)

Players as Oliver Ortmann, Tony Drago, Imran Majid, Raj Hundal, Niels Feijen, Jasmin Ouschan and Sandor Tot have already registered, together with many more players from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Romania, Holland, UK and Norway...

15 000 € in first price if 256 players...

Its good if you live around Stanstead.

Roy, is the prize money guaranteed no matter what the turnout is? i.e if 55 players turn up is it still 10000Euro for the winner?

I've heard it costs more than that for a pint of beer in Norway!

Sounds like a great event, if only I hadn't used up all my holidays at work :-(

Rug rat, what is the average price of a beer over there?
I'm going to Stavanger for a long weekend in October.
I've never been to Norway before, but have heard some horror stories about the prices...

hmm... you really don´t wanna know...

ElbowRoom have cheap beers, considering other places in Oslo.

A pint costs 63 NOK, which is 8 Euros... 0,4 liters with beer costs 48 NOK, which is about 6 Euros...

Unfortunately, we have always had governments who do not want people to drink alcohol, that´s why the prices are so high... :(

It´s about the same prices in Stavanger, by the way my hometown and the best city in Norway ;)

Thanks mate.
I'm really looking forward to it.
There are direct flights from Aberdeen to Sola, so that suits me perfect.

Rugrat you need to get voting for the other lot or get outta there quick! 8 Euros for a ****in beer?

Brings back memories of Milan a few weeks ago when I went to Italy to support Dynamite, then he changed his mind at last minute and didn't go. So I ended up spending about £1K on booze round italian cities to pass time. Good crack but £2K for 2 of us for 5 nights - should've gone on a cruise!
