Congratulations to Tony Daryl and Andy for their successes in this tournament. If I read the report properly there were only 35 players, can this be true? for that prize money? How come this event didn't get the publicity that it deserved.

Just got back....there was around 100 players in the event. ...there were some exelent players in attendance including players like Tot, Petroni, Mladonavic, Pascasi, Drago, Boyes, Peach, Worthington Muratori, and a whole host of others. Great tournament and very well run! I was disapointed to lose in the final but i guess i am keeping my good run of form going!....i didnt do anything wrong in the final.....just a couple of funny rolls here and there changed the match around. All in all, we all enjoyed the trip and are looking forward to returning! ----------------- [ This message was edited by: dazzler on 2007-06-04 15:03 ]

Had a great time in italy with Daryl and Boyzi good venue and very well run tournament.Cant believe the number of entries only 95 considering the large prize fund.Well done to Daryl on yet another final he played very well all week and will be very hard to beat in austria.Boyzi and myself should have probably reached the semis but both of us played well below par in last 16 and got beat.Cant wait for next year should get plenty of british players entering what was a superb event.

I've received a couple of photos from the Italian Pool Federation, and I've added them to the article here. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor
