Yeh, but that's only about £140 so considering the benefits you would get from having it EPBF sanctioned it seems like a small price to pay. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2006-11-24 15:53 ]

!!! QUOTE !!! agree, but the good thing of getting it sanctioned is that EPBF can send out invitations for it to all countries and players... I don't think that is true Rugrat but one of the advantages of having a tournament sanctioned by the EPBF is that it gives it official status. Another advantage is that you can put your own poster/flyer etc on the EPBF website which means that the info will reach all the top players in Europe.

Ok, Just to let you all know now I am back from Spain and that the Grand Masters Event date should be announced in the next 48 hours, It will be a 32 Player event with a £500 entry and £6000 first Prize, we have 22 entries already and that is without the top euro players, although in Spain I had a chat with a number of them including Neils Feijan, Ivica Putnik, Thorsten Hohmann and Marcus Chamat amonst others and all are keen to play, so we expect this event to fill up very quickly, Norway are doing a qualifier during there event in January and Cusack147 said they are going to hold two at Les Dodds club in Southport (will need that confirming), anyone else who is planning a qualifier please can you contact me via PM or email as we have only 10 places left in this event and thats not including any qualifiers which we will have to limit to 4 due to top european players who are looking to enter.
Cheers Mark M
