Apparently there are even MORE photos from this event, of the finalists being presented with their prizes - coming courtesy of Greg De Silva late this evening!

Big Dave, just out of interest why hasn't Raj and Imran got pages on the side with player profiles?

Dang, I just wrote a huge reply but I screwed up and lost the post, (mercifully for you this will now be much more concise) but basically Pro9 MEMBERS were invited to submit answers to profile questions, and I guess Raj and Imran missed out - more recently I've realised that Pro9 needs PLAYER profiles.

The scheduled upgrade of Pro9 will feature both player AND member profiles with enhanced functionality!

More photos from the Rileys Victoria "Home of the Champions" event, courtesy of Greg de Silva... Thanks very much Greg.

Press Release.
Home Of The Champions Event Organisers (HOT CEOs):
(Gregory "The Don" De Silva, Lionel "Rookie007" Browne and Chris "De Organiser" Billings would like to thank the sponsors of the London 9Ball Classic (Rileys and Staff of Victoria and Clapham, Rex Chalmers Estate Agents and Pro9.co.uk) for their support. Leaving the best for last we would especially like to thank all of you players who participated and those who turned up and could not participate, for their support. You all made this a special and pivotal day in the annals of Pool in the UK.

The Details of the next Tournament will be posted on Pro9.co.uk by the end of the week. This one, we will make even better.

Reporter
Raj the "HITMAN" Hundal had to work for his money. "BABY-FACE" Dave Walsh did not roll over, because it was no push over for The Hitman. In the end
the master triumphed but this also shows that it looks like the prodigal son Walsh, is returning home to the game. I believe that we need to keep watching this space.

Reporter: So, Raj what are your views about the London 9Ball Classic?

The Hitman: Firstly I would like to thank the event organisers (HOT CEOs) for managing on of the better tournaments around. I would also like to thank the sponsors without them,,,,,well lets just say that they are as important to the sport.

The Hitman: After winning the Masters I haven't had the best run since 2005 for various reasons, I have learned from my mistakes and am now a totally different positive and committed individual. But I'm back...."Raj The Hitman Hundal is HUNGRY and Back" I am determined to take my right full place in this sport and I will sweat and work hard for it. This weekend was tough, there were some quality players there, but I persevered and soldiered on. I am looking toward the future. Watch this space........

When asked for his thoughts about his performance in the London 9Ball Classic.

Walsh replied: (like Jack Nichols, "I'm coming BACK") I felt relaxed I have some work to do on my game, I have not played for a while but I am feeling positive and strong. I am going to Bournemouth this weekend for the Bunjee.
All I have to say is watch this space.........

STOP THE PRESS!!! At the end of the day this reporter was informed by Hundal, Majid and Drago. "We are willing to represent our club's reputation as the HOME OF THE CHAMPIONS against any EURO challenges. They ended by saying "WE WILL BEAT ANY CLUB IN EUROPE" This time we wont be on the BEACHES, we will be on the BAIZE!!!!

So if there are any Clubs out there on the continent willing to throw down the Gauntlet and make it interesting, get in touch with the Home of Champions Event Organisers (HOT CEOs) to discuss Venue and Format.

This reporter think that these are BIG words, but they are from BIG GUNS!

Lets see if there are any Brave Souls out there.

A BIG and genuine THANK YOU to all. See you at the next event in November.

HOT CEO's.
