Is any body going, that lives in the Birminingham area? I will be living in Wolverhapton from this Sunday. More than happy to help with the fuel. P.S Chris its Ben Patrick, not Patricks.

I personly think the victoria comp will be better. Anything organized by chris billing is always top draw. Also Lionel brown (co organizer) is a friend so i got to show my support. So is know one going from the Brimingham area?

Just a friendly reminder to all the players who are the main list you must be registered (paid your entrance fee) no later than 11am or you will lose your place to someone on the reserved list no excuses. If you are going to be late then phone the club and ask to speak to Chris Billings. Rileys number is:02078248261 [ This message was edited by: Blackref on 2007-09-19 20:51 ]

Good Comp this one.
Last eight were
Imran v Raj Tommy Donlon v ???? Dave Walsh v Paul Kellet ???????? v ????????
Good Value for £30 and the matches came along quickly being races to 5 and a field of 32.
Well Done to Chris Billings and the Victoria posse....

I'm sure no one that went to the event would bother mentioning a poor table, that's simply not the way you treat your sponsors. The Rileys Victoria club is a beautifully decorated, spacious club, with sumptuously comfortable furnishings. The staff were excellent hosts, and the club very generously provided around 10 tables on free-play for the major part of a very long day. I really wish there was a club half as good as Rileys Victoria in my home town, but Rileys haven't found a suitable property here yet! Think I'm sucking up here? ...Well, I AM!!! ...And here's why... I guess the weekend rate for a table could be around £10 per hour, (multiply that figure by X tables, and then multiply it again by Y hours and you will see how generous Rileys Victoria have been. "Bite the hand that feeds us" is not the way we treat our sponsors around here, after they've provided over £1,000 worth of hospitality for an independent event! Rileys sponsor a lot of tournaments up and down the country with free table play, and they also sponsor this site with advertising too, so perhaps we should say thanks in the future eh? ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-09-24 14:53 ]

Table 3's top cusion is dead. Nothing much we can do about it. Apart from that the whole event was awesome and we all need to give RILEYS a big massive thanks for all the help they gave in running an awesome event and for all the past and future events they have helped us with and will help us with.
bangladesh..................thanking RILEYS

I reckon the nicer we are to our sponsors, the more likely they will be to give us more! Incidentally I've added all the photos from Victoria to the PoolPhotos site... For some reason the resolution on the photos is particularly excellent for this event - and I'm not exactly sure what I did differently with the camera! Oh well... I'm not going to complain... Suffice to say, that if you are thinking of buying a photo from either Victoria or Solihull, these photos would look great in the 10x8 format, as I appear to be in my "wide angle" phase! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-09-24 14:59 ]
