Chris, you work your nads off, and are very genuine. Hopefully no one will question you integrity. Best of luck, I look forward to the comp.

Does that date not clash with a tournament in barnsley on the 29th/30th?

I hope this means the APN will be rearranged as i am in the carribbean from the 25th sept for two weeks :-(

It also clashes with a double header 29th/30th in Glasgow for the Scottish tour.

:-(

I know this will clash with other tournaments but we need to bring this to a close and i think with so many tournaments going on it is always going to clash with another tournament. Most of the players are players that don't usually play in tournaments.

Don't get me wrong Chris as I really do appreciate all your efforts with this, and it isn't the easiest thing to arrange and pull off a well run tournament. But this will put several people who participated in APN leagues in a situation where they have to choose between the National and Regional finals and the tournies that are being run in Barnsley and Glasgow, and which were scheduled prior to this announcement. With the efforts that Shir and Lee have put in on players behalf I for one would be torn between the two.

I'm not saying re-arrange the tourny for me or any other individual but rather that in principle, and if at all possible, date clashes should be avoided. Obviously this won't always be possible but surely there are several weekends before the end of the year where no competing tournaments are already scheduled?

Apologies if this isn't the case.

Best wishes,

Jonathan.

P.S. it would also give Sky Blue Jim a chance to play, sun tan and all!

Chris - we should be able to sort something out so there are no clashes... maybe best to give Shir a call. Her number is on the BPPPA flyers.
