Final Group will be:
Efren Reyes Ralf Souquet Thorsten Hohmann Evgeny Stalev Dennis Orcollo Marlon Manalo
The other day i saw Niels Feijen lose by 1% but this this is one is unreal Daryl Peach and Dennis Orcollo both finished with 3 wins and tied for 2nd in the group but 0.40% separated them in the winning percentage.
Dennis Orcollo 56.86 Daryl Peach 56.46
and Darren Appleton also finished tied for 2nd but Evgeny Stalev went thru again not as close as daryl's but still surely there has to be a better way especially when it comes to choosing the final 6.
E. Stalev 57.3% D.Appleton 54.88%
If it had been like it is in the champions league when 2 teams are tied it goes down to results against each other that decides who goes on in this case had that been the way then Daryl would be in the final group due to him beating Dennis 8-6 in his group but in the other group Darren lost to Stalev so Evgeny would go thru anyway.
Unlucky Darren and Daryl massive achievement and done the UK proud with your performances.
Well done to all the UK players who played this week in Vegas. Good luck to Ralf and Thorsten!!!

Have you noticed how efren has kinda stumbled through the tournament until this stage then goes 5 for 5 maybe he's just decided its time to play.......i realy cant see another winner than him. If you think backa few years to the ibc tournament held out tokyo way it was at the time the biggest 9 ball tournament ever held in terms of first prize and surprise surprise an efren who had won very little that season pops up and wins it..........the king of the hill another massive payday and once again up pops efren.........erm well now the biggest 8 ball event......erm maybe its efren time again -----------------

Here here expertfluke. The 2 daz's have done UK pool proud and to be so close to the final group in the first event is absolutely superb. Nice payday as well which they both deserve. Let's see a UK player in the final group of the next one! My tip for the title is Souquet.....cos he'll BORE them to death!

bruno, you must have absoloutly no knowledge of pool, how can you diss the most complete pool playing proffessional.
for two decades now souquet has been at the very top of the game and your remarks are an insult to the man.
yes he might take his time but he is in the final group with a great chance of winning, maybe 8-ball does not come as naturally to him as other disciplines,
i suppose you were calling hendry boring in his heyday and look what he done.

PC.........you are correct............Efren ALWAYS seems to scrape thru the groups and thats when he's at his most dangerous. I think a Phillipino winner is guaranteed. Well done Darren and Dazzler............

If you look at my post there is a wee smiley after my statement, so that would suggest I am maybe having a laugh? He is the slowest player there, but also the BEST! I reckon he will qualify with Reyes to the final, so let's see eh? What's Hendry got to do with it anyway? ----------------- Every man dies, not every man truly lives...

Souquet is like a machines hes an awesome player, but like Destroyer says can be a litle dull to watch in comparison to say Reyes etc. Fair play to him though hes 40-50? and still has the hunger to win hats of to him ----------------- Playing Cue: Schon CX48 Break/Jump Cue: Bunjee Blaster [ This message was edited by: Tricky on 2006-07-29 18:42 ]

Sorry if I'm wrong, but I'm certain that Ralf is roughly the same age as myself. Somewhere between 30-36.
