Well done Pat - you can feel proud of what you achieved. Like you say, it's a stepping stone to bigger things in the future.
You looked a natural in the kilt - I bet the locals loved it.

Ronnie Alcano is a lovely bloke and it would be awesome for him to win it in the Philippines, but don't you think the pressure will get to him in the final in front of his home crowd?

Wu must be gutted with the white getting kicked in like that on his breaks.

Alcano has been the man of the week. He has been the underdog in most of his matches and I have to say I've won a few quid on him. However, I cant see him beating Souquet...he will grind his way to the title I think. Race to 17 alternate breaks?
Could be a long day.....

.........Ronnie Alcano is one of the biggest money players in the Philippines...........his backer is Manny Pacquiao who is the World Super-featherweight champion. Manny is in the middle of his training right now because next week he fights Morales in an mulit-million dollar ppv fight......as you can imagine, Pacquiao has a rather big wallet so if the likes of Appleton wants to play for £20,000 sterling then that can be easily arranged, thats if he is willing to wait a couple of weeks for Manny Pacquiao to return to the Philippines.

Well done Pat! Great commentary too! Hope you get a regular spot. It's great to hear a familiar voice that actually knows the game. Unlike the snooker blokes! Anyway, whats left of my $$$$$$ are going on Alcano. Now I'm off to practice my (setting up the 1 in the side) break. -----------------

Well he's playing for $60,000 tomorrow ($100,000 to winner $40,000 to loser) So that's a big money game!!! Want the Kaiser to win, although it won't be pretty. Kaiser 17 -15 is my prediction

Have to agree about the commentary. It makes such a difference having someone who actually knows the game!!!
Pat was the pick of the bunch for me!

Early days yet - although Souquet's tactical style might not work against this guy.
(What a great three-rail escape by Souquet).

Erm, I'm at work today, so my internet broadcast that the big man kindly put me onto has been on since 07:45 Put a couple of bets on as well. 14-1 for no scratch in the match was worth a fiver.
