is this open to anyone?

reason i ask is, whats to stop one of the big guns thats already on the list playing in it and then qualifying?

This wouldn't solve your problem of not been able to make the 32 up, so i suggest that you ban players that have already put their name on the main list......

.....just trying to help.

Daryl, they will do that as they have done in all other qualifiers. Anyone who's already on the list and then enters a qualifier immediately gives up their place to a reserve.

However, what I think they should also do is make a rule that anyone who's been on the list up to a certain date, e.g. today, cannot enter a qualifier even if they come off the list now. IMO if they have entered the tournament they should stick to their commitment and pay their £500 unless there is a very good reason to pull out, and entering a qualifier so they can reduce their entry fee is not a good reason to go back on their commitment IMO.

sorry Riggers......but thats exactly what i said in my post!

:-P

Any names that are down on the main list should be "banned" from entering a qualifier.

Another big name set to step into the Grand Masters, also the draw for the Grand Masters will be done in the Emirates during the world 8-ball championships and will be hopefully put on pro9 live as it is done if Mr Big Dave is happy to do that.

Oliver Ortmann has notified me that he is unable to make the Grand Masters due to another commitment, he is to be replaced by Mika Immonen.

lol.....unreal how they come and go aint it!

So what happened to me helping to do the draw in Czech?.....maybe if you had thought everything through a little more you wouldn't have to keep changing your mind so much!

Thanks for letting me know by the way.

Hi Everyone in the Grand Masters,
Just for the attention of all players who still have not paid there entry fee into the Grand Masters, today is the closing date for entries, any entries not paid by midnight tonight Friday 23rd February then these places will be given to other players who have money waiting on the waiting list, you have all been warned.
We cannot help who enter then pull out, if all entries are in on time then there is not/ or ever been a problem, people enter and drop out of eurotour this happens but as long as 32 players are in and paid then it does not matter.

Mark Mills / Karl Boyes (Cuesport UK)
